If i connect pc and TV I am stuck at splash screen

I have done some troubleshooting and I do not really understand why the things behave like they do. I have Batocera 5.24 installed on the internal hard disk of an old dell and in a bootable usb.
- Batocera works perfectly when the old dell computer is connected to a pc screen (full HD through hdmi cable) booting from hard disk
- It is stuck at the splash screen when I connect the old dell to the TV (full HD samsung through hdmi) booting from hard disk
- It is stuck at the splash screen when I connect the old dell to the TV (full HD samsung through hdmi) booting from USB
-The usb is flashed correctly as it works perfectly on my other computers (both laptop and desktop connected to screen (fullHD )

I would really like to run Batocera on the TV and use the old Dell as a console but it seems it is not working. any idea?

use Rufus or a similar program to write the image file to an harddrive or usb drive.

I had the same problem using etcher.

Apparently it was some compatibility issue with the usb stick itself and not how the image was written. Even if it booted on the my pc, the old dell probably does not want newer usb sticks.

I still have to manage to install succesfuly on the hard drive of the pc as it can-t boot even at the end of the procedure indicated in this vid
