I don't know if this is a known bug but, after pairing the controller everything works fine until you restart the system, after that the controller will not connect again to the raspberry pi until you pair the controller again.
In other words, everytime you turn on your raspberri pie you have to pair the controller to make it work for that session.
Tested on 5.24 and 5.25 beta
