Need help with Dreamcast emulation on XU4

Hi all,

I'm trying to run my favorite Dreamcast games (Resident Evil: Code Veronice + Skies of Arcadia, ...) on
the XU4, however, as soon as I start a game the screen goes black (no sound whatsoever) and the whole system becomes unresponsive, meaning I have to log in via SSH and reboot it from there.
I placed the Dreamcasts 'dc/data' folder (including dc_flash.bin and dc_boot.bin) inside the 'share/bios/' folder on the SD card (as I would do it for Reicast on Android) but apparently this wasn't correct.

Do I have to move the files to another location or what do I have to do to get the games run properly?

Okay, got the emu running by placing dc_flash.bin and dc_boot.bin directly into the 'share/bios' folder (without the 'dc/data' subfolders), yay 😃

However, the aspect ratio set in ES seems to be ignored, I set 16/9 globally but Reicast displays everything in ~4:3 (resulting in black borders left and right of the screen).
I tried to adjust it to 16/9 in the advanced settings but without success.

Is there a way to force Reicast into widescreen mode?

yes, values are probably ignored (ie the job is not finished)
you can search in system/config/reicast to find how to change the configuration file
once found, we've to add the code to map the value from es to this file.

Tried to adjust the resolution settings for N64 and DC emulation in the config files, however, they seem to be overridden from somewhere else, so I can't adjust to aspect ratio.

I had a dig at the dreamcast emulation settings trying to get it to run fullscreen, stretched, but couldn't get it working 🙁

Also, did likewise on N64. Don't think this is possible just yet on the default N64 emulator (forgot which one this is) but you can get it running fullscreen, stretched on one of the alternatives (is it the libretro core? can't remember) - however - this isn't as stable as the default emu. Stretched on the default would be great. Hoping for these two emus to get updated soon!
