Installation crash

Hello all,

I have made a fresh installation of the 5.24 release and after the 1rst boot I just upload a few roms to test them, and when I shut down the pc and tried to launch batocera again it crash just after the batocera logo (black screen) and do always the same each time I trie to boot.

I have made the installation 3 times and always the same, even if I don't do nothing (no roms upload and no menu or option change). After the 1rst foot, it never boot again.

I have tested with the Nvidia legacy driver activate and not activate (in the conf file)

This is my pc configuration for the important parts :

Intel core i5 3550
Msi gtx 970 gaming 4g
8g ddr4
Hdd Seagate 1to

Anyone have an idea??

How did you install batocera?
And could you test with the current beta of 5.25 if you have the same issue?

Got the same issue. No booting with a fresh install. But copied over some files EFI folder and BOOT folder from older batocera (5.23) and just replaced the core files with the new ones and it is working. I think that the lack of "grub" folder on the new image is the case.
