PCSX2 does not launch some games (beta 5.25)

Hello, I have an AMD Ryzen 2200G which used to work well on some PS2 games (ex : Grand Turismo 3 or 4) but now they don't work anymore since I have upgraded on batocera 5.25 beta. Some few games launch very well like Alpine Racer 3.

I don't find missing bios in the menu so I would like to know if somebody has the same issue ?

Flashing 5.25rc2 has fixed the issue.

hi, can you tell me how to get the ps2 to work again please, i have updated to v 5.25 from this forum https://forum.batocera.org/public/d/3167-batocera-5-25-rc2, i download the x86_64 one and i still cant run the ps2 games, when i run them i just get back to the main screen, idk if um using 5.25 or 5.25rc2, and if you have the exact .img
that has the ps2 to work fine, please give me the link so i can download it.

Dr3amShot Sorry for my late reply. I confirm the link you have shared (5.25-rc2) let me play to PS2 games.
You can check if some bios are missing from the batocera menu (something like in game settings > missing bios or game settings > advance game options > bios)

prog-amateur its okay, by the way, i have checked if i have missing bios but it turns out that there is nothing missing, but the problem now is when i launch the games, at the menu the game is perfect, but when i just start a game the game starts to get laggy and sound issues appear and the frames drop down.

Dr3amShot hello, which console you try to play and what is your setup (CPU, GPU, and RAM) ?
If it is not a bios issue, than it is possible that your setup is not enough strong to play some consoles like PS2 maybe (I had this issue with Crash Bandicoot 4 with an old NUC).
By the way, there is 5.25-rc4 release (in General section of the forum), did you try it ?
