roms samba nfs batocera 5.24

Greetings, I just started using Batocera which seems like an excellent job, but I find the problem when connecting it to a nas synology where I have the roms and the bios, I have tried for nfs and samba but there is no way, the nas in question is a synology 214play, and in multimedia by nfs it goes perfect but I can't connect by nfs or samba I've tried

lines prefixed by a # are comments, remove the # to uncomment them

device to the share data (userdata)

sharedevice = NETWORK
sharenetwork_smb1=ROMS@192.168.x.x: volume1 / Games / Roms: username = xxx, password = xxx, vers = 1.0

disable the splashsound (remove the # to disable sound)

splashsound = false

enable the nvidia driver (remove the # to enable it)

nvidia-driver = true

I have also tried:

y otras combinaciones pero no hay forma, las roms se encuentran en la capeta /volume1/Juegos/Roms, y estoy utilizando batocera 5.24 x86-x64

I have had good luck with the sharenetwork_cmd1 style commands. Maybe that would work better for you?

This is samba, but this does work for me.

I too am new to Batocera, and trying to get NAS shares working. I have tried all the different versions from the Wiki but can't get it to work at boot. Running on X86_64 on local HD

I have created a SMB share on my NAS Called Batocera with a user called John with password Wayne

so in the Batocera.conf file I first tired adding this at the end
sharedevice=NETWORK
sharenetwork_smb1=SHARE@192.168.0.1:batocera:username=john,password=wayne

but it didn't work, I turned on debug in the hope it would write an error to the log file but saw nothing in the log file.

So I tried just doing the "roms" rather than the whole lot so updated conf file like this
sharedevice=NETWORK
sharenetwork_smb1=ROMS@192.168.0.1:batocera/roms:username=john,password=wayne

Still nothing

I tried the other ways and still nothing, would be great if I could see an error etc.

Anyway, if I take out my config reboot and then SSH to the Batocera and type this on the command line
mount.cifs -o username=john,password=wayne //192.168.0.1/Batocera/roms /userdata/roms
the go to the menu in emulation station and tell it to rescan my games, it reads my roms from the NAS

so how do I get it to work from Boot ?

OK, Ignore me, I'm a idiot was editing the wrong config file.. Went back and reread the instructions. And edited the correct config file, And all is working now. I was editing the Batocera.conf not the Batocera-boot.conf file.
