Roms stops working

I'm really trying hard to like batocera but the rc software is giving me headaches. I had playstation, gba and mamde working at one point on a 128gig card then I went to scrape images n videos on the game. Then games stopped working. Anyone know why? And how to fix without have to re-image card again.

@ I've also never got dreamcast to work. Yes I do have the bioses installed. Just goes to black screen and jumps back to games menu.

How did you transfer your roms?
Did you use the inbuild scraper?
Do you have another SD-Card for testing purposes? Could you try to reproduce the issue? Does it really happen directly after scraping?
Could you test with external scraper tool, if the same error occurs then?

I transferred the roms via wifi . Yes I used the inbuilt scraper. I don't have another SD card but i have gotten things to work now. I think the problem wax I left the unit scrapping covers and vidoes overnight and it crashed at one point since not all the covers completed. After this crash no matter how many times i turned the unit off and on it wouldn't play games. Upon reflashing card and installing latest beta build and keeping my scraping in the 300 or so i haven't had an issue. The OS needs work done. Im gonna try emulec . Thanks again for your help.

I started having a similar problem.

Everything was working fine since I got the system built and initially loaded. Playing Atari 2600, 7800, Neo Geo, SNES, NES, Genesis, SMS, and PSX. Tonight, I loaded a single PSP rom and upon booting the handheld, it no longer can find any of the games. I don't think its related.

I put a new image on the card, then reloaded ROMS, Saves and BIOS files, but still nothing. Also grabbed another card and the same behavior keeps happening. Both cards are SanDisk 128GB XC.

In all cases never lost files off any cards unless using Etcher to reload the image.

Installation of ROM, saves and BIOS files are done through a Windows 10 computer using "Linux File Systems for Windows" by Paragon Software.

Hmm .. i would try tranferring the files over wifi. I had alot of problem transferring files on sd card, i think windows doesn't unmount the card properly.

I'm using "sshfs" in linux and windows without any problem.

martblek I'm trying this now... thank you! Sorry I didn't get back sooner, got distracted with other work. :D

I use Bitvise SSH Client for my transfers on other platforms, figured to try something different with this one.
