Fabb25 Hi , i 've a SN30 8bitdo controller and i can't map L2/R2 buttons others works.is there a tip to activate them? Is it compatible with batocera 5.24? Thanks you
BZZ Fabb25 I think out of the box it detects as xbox controller. you need to put it in another mode with start+B for 3 sec. I think 2 leds will flash and then you connect it via cable or pair it via bluetooth. This way L2/R2 work fine.
joinski Fabb25 like BZZ said, try another pairing mode. and you should also check, if your 8bitdo controller has the current firmware installed (because there were issues with older firmwares). https://support.8bitdo.com/ and you could also test the current RC of Batocera version 5.25 (currently it is RC4, see here: https://forum.batocera.org/public/d/3217-batocera-5-25-rc4 )
BZZ Did you try start+y? The manual that you got with it should explain all modes available. Minor is wireless and start+b does it for me. Yours might require different button combination. I am not home and internet here is slow to check manuals online.
BZZ Fabb25 I guess you got it to work (?) ;-) Now lets wait and see if the 5.25 fixes the constant need to pair via bluetooth eveytime system starts ;-)
