Hi everyone! There we go again. Long time I hadnât use batocera but last week I realised there was a new version available (5.27.2) so I tested if the HDMI sound issues with my hardware could might be fixed⊠They werenât, but there are updates! :)
Now I can see a fourth option in the audio settings menu mentioning the HDMI output, but after choosing it and rebooting it didnât work. I tried open Kodi and test all audio outputs but nothing worked.
I accessed alsamixer (alt+ctrl+F4) and now I can see a sound device (Intel HDMI/DP LPE audio) that didnât appear in previous versions, but if I choose it the next message is displayed âThis sound device does not have any controlsâ.
As well, executing the command âaplay - lâ through a SSH connection shows more sound devices than in previous versions. But, the sound is not working yet.
Any idea?
aplay -l
