naitreia How much space do you have on the drive you are using? Did you update or do a full format and install ? Some people had this problem due to partition size changes when they did update via the in system menu. Does your setup has more than 1 drive (inc optical) ?

BZZ Hi, know i did a fully new install over etcher! There is only one partition!
I have 128GB and only this drive!
I know i read in the past a post where someone has also that problem and he puts a additional partition on the drive and it works but i cant find it anymore...

Oh alt+F3 has shows some reaction...

Hi,
The best easy way to install Batocera (seems to be the only valid way), is to install onto an external USB drive or USB stick.
NO internal hard drive, NO internal partition, and NO dual boot "mambo jambo"!
(Etcher does NOT support internal HD.)
Install to the connected external USB drive.
-- Once the install is FINISHED:
If USB stick --> just plug, reboot and play!
If USB hard drive --> put the hard drive INSIDE the computer and Start computer..

blackeve You can use Etcher to install to internal HD as long as you have a working system on it. Take the drive out of your target PC put it in your Etcher PC and do same as with USB. You have to turn on the 'unsafe mode'.

His problem was the post install error not the installation itself ;-)

blackeve j'ai eu ce problème sur clé usb avec etcher et j'ai essayé avec hdd en interne idem. Problème de partition gpt sur les deux supports.
