Serveral doubts...

Hi, about an hour ago I installed batocera and is an amazing distro, so easy and out of the box....
Anyway, I was looking a way to change some default cores, but I cant find a way to change to BSNES MERCURY BALANCED and last version of MAME (last on retroarch)

Either way, in retroarch there's no option to activate HARD GPU = ON

On windows, this cores runs perfect, with almost zero input lag with HARD GPU ON, but on batocera the input lag is noticeable...

Is there any plans to implemet this cores and functions????

My machine is a dell optiplex 790 i3, 4gb ram, and a modest Intel HD2000, and in windows runs perfectly bsnes with no input lag with hard gpu = on, and lastest mame runs totally playable tekken tag tournament and killer
instinct 1 and 2

batocera comes as a firmware, you can't update or add software on it (simplyly).
you've not all possible core for each system, just the one we estimated interesting.

lag generally comes from a gpu card not always perfectly supported on linux, but it may come from different parameters or such things. not always easy to tell.

by last mame, can you confirm you mean mame2016 ?

Forgot to mentiont I been trying LibreELEC with emulationstation, retroarch 1.5.0, and intel driver works perfectly on that distro fork, gl driver and KMS activated, "hard gpu" option is available there (libreelec forum is down right now).

Why I prefer your distro???? because emulationstation is full of option and that is GREAT; Kodi is more automated so there's no problem there.

I downloaded your last testing version, I will install later when got some free time, Im so excited to keep triying and testing batocera because is unique for us who prefers x86_64 instead of rpi option, and we all know rpi got so many options righ now.
