Only Video Snaps have No Audio

I have all sounds except game video snaps.

I am running Batocera 5.25 on a tiny Lenovo PC using a 2tb hard drive solely for Batocera. It has 16gb ram, on board audio and graphics. I have it connected to a Samsung 4k tv via HDMI.

But what is baffling me is all sound is working except video snap audio. The video is playing, but no sound with it.

I am not using "Frontend Music" because I wanted to use video snap sounds.
Would there perhaps be a setting somewhere for this?

PS -
In the settings "Enable Video Audio" is ON
I hear navigation sounds and I hear Frontend Music (if I enable it) but no video snap audio for any system.

Any ideas before I give up on Batocera?

Yes I’ve just installed it to my intel NUC and are having the same problems as you., will be investigating, if I find anything I will let you know

I’ve got a feeling it might to be the way the videos were encoded

This issue will be fixed in next version (5.26), see changelog:

yes, unfortunately it was not fixed completely in 5.26. will hopefully be fixed in the next version

are you on a PC or RPi?

did you update from a previous version or install from scratch?

did you already try, what is written in the wiki about this issue?

Moin, ich habe gesehen das du im Thema warst und auch deutsch. Vielleicht kannst du mir helfen.

Ich habe Ton aber nicht bei den Video snaps, leider kann ich asoundrc nicht ändern. Das System erstellt den Ordner in Boot (USB) und somit geschützt. Ich habe auch mit SSH „mount -o remount,rw /boot“ probiert aber nach Neustart ist die Datei wie vorher.
