Lag with Beefy PC and Fast USB Drive

I am getting lag straight of the bat on the menu at about 3-5 fps. If I am getting lag in the menu, I was wondering what would happen with a game that takes more power than a simple menu screen. I have yet to launch a game on it because of predictions of it being just as laggy. I have a very good processor and above average graphics card. I am using a USB 3.0 SanDisk (USB 2.0 Compatible) with a very high speed, yet still getting lag. I am also using the 64 bit version and the latest version on the date of this post so far. Is there a setting I can change or do something different to get the system to run better? Thanks.

your gpu card is not supported on linux. you need an other one.

Do you think It Will work If I run SSH and install NVIDIA drivers (GTX 750 ti) ?

it cannot work as easyly as you think, but in most case, itwill not work.
i'm not an expert, but i think that the binary drivers given by ndidia or ati works for some range of linux kernel or xorg version. It's like installing windows 98 drivers on windows 10. Moreover, it requires compilation tools not installed on the batocera. Batocera is like a firmware, not like an ubuntu, you cannot install extra programs on it.

Feeling a bit idiotic, I checked the website to read more about it and saw the answer to my supposed FAQ. Thanks anyways. Do you think the later versions will be able to be more compatible with most systems?

it is not dependant of I, but of the people writing gpu card drivers for linux.

I notice i have this issue if i use a large usb. On my computer batocera works great using a 32 gb usb drive, but when i use a 128gb usb it lags in the menu and games to a point its unplayable.
It even works great using batocera on the small usb and roms and rest of share file in a large hdd.

Has anybody else had issue or know why this happens. i have the same result on usb 2 and 3, sd cards....testing with 128gb it always lags
