NeoGeo - strange issue

While testing NeoGeo on batocera, I have strange issue that from 4 games I have, 2 work without any issues, while 2 just turn screen to black and after couple of seconds it pops back to menu. I tried different versions of NeoGeo bios, as well placing bios in both roms and bios folders. Strange thing is that 2 games work without any problem, and games are from the same pack. Any ideas, as I am about to give up. :)

Now that I think about it, I did not mention what games. (genius me :))
Games that work: Metal Slug & Over Top
Games that DO NOT work: Pleasure Goal and NeoGeo Cup '98

Mine work fine. If a couple of games work, I doubt it's a problem with the bios. I think it's those roms themselves that don't work for whatever reason. Just try getting hold of them from another source and give it another try.
