Stop game script to change resolution

Hi!

I'm a lvl 1 poweruser. Just days ago I completed my switch to only linux based OS when I accidentally destroyed my windows installation by pulling the power on a hot disk in frustration.

I like Batocera. It's like the good old DOS days. No saves, only one life. No walkthroughs.

I'm using switchres on a CRT, which works great, it switches resolution and bestows upon me holy scanlines. But it doesn't switch resolution back when exiting to emulationstation. It messes all the images up, everything pushed to one side, super zoomed and all.

Just learned about the script feature and figured that it should be possible to execute a simple gameStop script like: "xrandr -s 1280x1040" to get back to original resolution.

Basically I'm tired after weeks of blind hacking and I'm looking for a free cookie... Please... I have bags under my eyes... :)

Ok this seems to work:

For anyone like me (lazy), follow the link above, download the snippet and edit it like this. Follow the rest of the instructions and it should work. I guess. Did for me. I'm now lvl 2 🙃
