Dreamcast games won't start

Hello, I'm new to Batocera and trying to get my Dreamcast games to run. I run Batocera on my Intel Duo Core 2 machine. I've succeeded with the MegaCD by putting the bios files in the bios folder. I did the same with the Dreamcast bios, the md5 checksums are positive and the missing bios list won't show the Dreamcast anymore.

I've tried 2 games, Crazy Taxi and Sonic Adventures 2 and placed the .zip files in the folder dreamcast inside roms.
When I try to start the games the screen goes black and returns after 2 seconds to the game list. Both games are region US btw.

Are there any error logs to check? Or does somebody knows what I do wrong?

Thanks for the reply.

I've troubleshooted the error logs and this is what I get returned:

X Error of failed request:  GLXBadFBConfig

  Current serial number in output stream:  33

I've tried running the command glxinfo but it can't run:
Error: unable to open display

Does this mean that my build in GPU does not support OpenGL?

What kind of hardware do you use? CPU and GPU?
And did you try both Dreamcast Emulators/Cores? (Reicast/Flycast)

I only have the option Reicast for Dreamcast as emulator core. How can I add Flycast?

Playstation games are running without any problem btw.

flycast is not available for x86 (32bit), see here:
https://batocera.org/compatibility

you could try the x86_64 version of batocera.
but i guess the Intel GMA X4500 is a bit too old for dreamcast (+ maybe does not support the OpenGL-version that is required for dreamcast emulation (but i don't know which version it has to be at minimum))

I tried to boot the 64-bit version of Batocera but it freezes right after the console list shows up. It also looks not that good as the 32-bit version.

It's good for now, I'll upgrade the system some time later this year ;)
