Challenges after Updating to 5.25

Hello,

I was running Batocera 5.23 for quite a while with no bigger issues, but I wanted to test naomi, atomiswave and the new pc98 emulation.

I updated to 5.25 but got the following issues.
- ScummVM: The whole list in the frontend only shows the short name. As I have for example indy3 as Amiga, PC, Atari ST version. It shows up as three times indy3. In 5.23 the whole list also showed the name of the game an the version. Do I have to change something in my settings?
- Dreamcast. Most of the games end up in a black screen when leaving the game. System hangs, I have to do a reboot.
- SegaCD: Seems like the support for CSO has gone. I had to decompress the images to ISO to get them working again.
- 3DS: Does not start any game at all. I get an exception error.

In some cases all files are shown in the list (the mp3 files).

Can you reproduce those issues with a fresh new installation?
And can you try with the current beta 5.26 (if you have time and an additional usb-flashdrive for testing purpose).

The current installation was a fresh installation, no update. The only thing I did was copying the bios and the roms folder (except the _info.txt and gamelist.xml of each folder which I did not copy) from my former installation.

I can do a new fresh installation and I will also try the 5.26 version.

Tested with another fresh installation of 5.25 and also with beta 5.26.
Both version act the same in showing only the shortname of scummvm titles.
To make sure my datafiles are still correct I did an installation with 5.23 where all titles are shown the fully name of the game (name of the folder that contains the datafiles).

My issues mentioned above kept me busy. As I don’t like unsolved challenges I wanted to come back for a solution.

The description for SCUMMVM has to be changed.

To get the old view with the complete name of the game as ES menu entries (it used to take the folder name in the past) you have to rename the folder to complete_name_of_the_game.scummvm with name.scummvm in it. Not only the name.scummvm into that folder. Otherwise, if you have the same game for different gaming systems, you will see like 5 times “name” in the menulist without any clue for which system the entry is.
