I know that PS2 and Dreamcast are among the most demanding systems when it comes to emulation, and everywhere I look they always recommend having a dedicated graphics card to improve performance with these, like a GTX 1050 or 1060 - makes sense.
However, speaking as somebody who is admittedly pretty clueless about such things, I have to ask whether integrated graphics of a similar benchmark wouldn't do the job just as well?
For example: my research suggests that "Radeon RX Vega M GL" integrated graphics should fall somewhere between a GTX 1050 and 1050Ti, performance wise. Or the "Radeon RX Vega M GH" is apparently only slightly slower than a GTX 1060.
So if the integrated graphics capabilities are similar to certain dedicated cards, wouldn't the emulation results in theory be similar also?
