I have found a bug. When I exit an emulator and select another game, batocera adds virtual pads and some emulators no longer recognize the configuration. At power up the first pad has ID 0 and the second 1. After some tests I reached 20 and more. PC with Ryzen 3 64 bit. Have you a idea or solution for this problem? Thanks.

if you need support for Batocera Plus, you will have to ask the developer of Batocera Plus.
Here is the Batocera Linux forum and we can not answer questions regarding Batocera Plus (except, if the developer/team of Batocera Plus also visits this forum, but i do not know that and i guess they will not be around here).

Ok, but I found the same problem with both 5.25 batocera and the plus. I just wanted to understand if the problem is with betocera or I have to configure something that I don't know. With version 5.23 I had no problems. I have tried 5.24, 5.25 and the plus but the problem is the same. I don't wish it was a bug. Thanks and sorry.

Could you describe the issue in more detail please?
Step by step.
What controllers do you use?

And did you update from a previous version or did you also test a fresh new install from scratch of 5.25?

Clean installation on 64bit PC with MB A320 and Ryzen. Installation on SSD and ROM on other SSD. The Roms see them and everything works more or less apart from that for PSP games it doesn't come out and I have to reset. On first power up, joy0 (player1) is a microntek and joy1 (player2) is a dragonrise. I start any game. I get out of the game. Now Player 1 has become joy2 microntek and joy3 the dragonrise. I start other games and when they come out the joypad IDs increase. I even got to numbers like 22 and more. The problem is when I configure a joypad, joy0 and joy1 are stored. If they change to joy8 and 9 for example, the settings no longer work on some emulators. These include the retroarch analogs, the PSP, the PS2 and the dolphin. Thinking it was the fault of the pc I put back an old backup with a version like 5.23 and it no longer does. I also tried Batocera Plus and it does the same problem as the versions of Batocera 5.24 and 5.25. What can it be? I think it's a bug because using Lakka or Retropie there is no problem, but I prefer Batocera and would like to use it as in previous versions. Thank you.

sorry, i do not own such controllers (microntek and dragonrise) and so i can not help you.

The problem is with all pad or controller..

That's not true. I have a lot of different controllers/pads (PS3, PS4, Xbox360, Xbox One S, Nintendo Wii U Pro, Nintendo Switch Pro and several different 8bitdo controllers) and they all are running fine with Batocera.

Besides, if that would be true, then a lot of other people already would have complained and reported that.

I guess your issue only happens with your microntek and dragonrise pads.
Do you have any other pads like PS3-controller (or any other that i listed above) to try with?

In a Cab have only 2 controller...but if i connect another controller the number of ID raise...
