Wifi Connectivity issue with batocera-5.26-rpi4-20200418

Not able to have wifi connection with this version. Able to find sone SSID in the area, but cannot have successful connection.

I had this issue too. I managed to get wifi working with USB tethering through an Android phone. Not sure if it'll work for iPhones, but everyone having trouble here should give it a shot.

same problem still presist in batocera-5.26-rpi4-20200427. not connecting in 2.4ghz or 5ghz wifi.
showing under voltage issue sometimes.

I’m getting the same issue on batocera-5.26-rpi4-20200518. Couldn’t find the SSID, manually enter it and it connected. Once I restarted Batocera can no longer connect to the wfi.

Same problem here with batocera-5.26-rpi4-20200527.

Since the last update to 5.26, my RaspPi4 permanently looses connection to my WiFi. It worked well with 5.25 though. I tried RetroArch as a standalone (Lakka) and the Wifi was working, so I can guarantee that the hardware is not faulty. Has something been changed on 5.26 regarding Wifi for Pi4? And where can I downgrade to 5.25? Is there a download link to older builds of Batocera somewhere?

Thanks kindly. I can confirm now that the wifi network connection works perfect on batocera-5.26-rpi4-20200506.img but doesn’t work anymore on batocera-5.26-rpi4-20200527.img with my Raspberry Pi 4 setup. It’s definitely a bug in the new version.

I see my SSID (it’s a very simple term) and I can log in but it instantly looses its connection again, showing a strange ip or simply dropping out with “Not connected”. I disable and enable WLAN, it logs in again, is connected for a few seconds (I can even access with SAMBA) but then it drops out again.

I tried it with a RetroArch build (Lakka) and the WLAN connection was kept and I could perfectly work with it. I noticed in the meantime that both 5.26 images suffer the problem btw. I have no older image of Batocera so I can’t test it but I can guarantee (with Lakka) that the hardware is not faulty. Connectiong with a LAN cable works perfect but is no option.

Can I produce a log somehow? Would that help?

I have the same with batocera-5.26-rpi3-20200531.img on my Raspberry Pi 3B+ v1.3. Wifi network displays (2.4GHz) and I can connect to it fine, but the connection is intermittent. Here are my ping results.

Just tried batocera-5.25-rpi3-20200309.img and wifi works fine.

My case is that I couldn´t connect properly to 5Ghz Wifi. Same hardware but at 2.4Ghz works perfectly.

Hello i juste desactivate 802.11n and 802.11ac for my 5Ghz connection, now everything works perfectly.
