Wiimote (and wii classic controller) not working on Pi3

Hello All,

First thank you for a great product, the interface and ease of configuration is really helpfull, coming from retroarch.

There's one problem i'm running in to though. I've been testing Batocera on my Pi 4 and had a great experience. But when installing on my pi 3 i run into the problem my wiimote with plugged in wii classic controller is not working in any of the cores. On the pi 4 this was working great out of the box, but on the pi 3 it's only working in Emulationstation.

I've tried configuring the controllers and assigning a specific controller to input p1, but i can't get it to work in the cores.

Has anybody got an idea where to look next?

Just to be exact, other controllers (eg 8bitdo) are working on the Pi3. It's just the wiimote that's working on the pi4, but not the pi3. As i have no nice case for the pi 4 yet (please Retroflag) i'd really like to use the Pi3 for Batocera :)
