5.26 Beta fixes and issues

I updated to the 5.26 beta today and it fixed a dpad issue I was having with gamecube, however it seems to be suffering performancewise and my CPU temp really spiked. Gamecube appears a good bit slower and not a consistent 60fps where it was silky smooth with 5.25. Just wanted to report this.

What are your hardware specs? CPU/GPU?
And could you give an example, which game is running slower than with 5.25?
And which graphic settings in dolphin (resolution)?

Mario Golf - Toadstool Tour runs like butter on 5.25 but on 5.26 it runs horribly. Ironically it fixed my dpad right/down not working issue. I rolled back to 5.25 and performance with GC is back to good. However down and right buttons on Dpad aren't working again. I trust that 5.26 will get the kinks ironed out. Sticking with 5.25 for now. BTW, is there an official place I can report Beta bugs to?

After playing a little bit with 5.25 back being installed. I noticed my CPU temp hasn't gone above 59c. With 5.26 it was into 75c+ territory. So not sure if it's the updated version of Dolphin or someting in the background killing the CPU.

Same problem here, I have got Deskmini with 3200G AMD APU.
5.26 beta from early April was fine, but on the latest one:

Dolphin / Wii emulation is much more flakey, there is stuttering, slowdowns etc where there previously were none. For instance in Wii Sports Resort I could do 2x native resolution with no issues in the past, now it occasionally have problems with that and I have to drop this to 1x. It also look like Dual Core option is now disabled by default? (maybe it was the case before too though, not sure)
Custom native rendering resolution is not preserved in Dolphin, it always sets itself to 'auto', which is always slow and stutters, regardless of Wii resolution option chosen from ES menu. To be fair, I have never seen this working before, in the previous release I just hacked dolphin config generator python script to leave my GFX.ini file alone - which I set by hand to my liking
During boot process there is a blank screen for a good minute when loading Emulation Station, previously boot was almost instant
music in the ES menu stutters and cracks a lot - which is rather weird, no such problem in games I tried
Also, there has been some rpcs3 action in git recently (exciting!), but the latest beta image does not have it, I assume it is not functional yet and build for rpcs3 is disabled for now?

On x64 pc with Ryzen3. The problems I encountered are: Retroarch from error when saving the joystick remap. It does not accept analogic + digital on my cab. PPSSPP libretrò does not load any games in ISO or CSO. PPSSPP normal does not exit the game with the key combination set. Gamecube and Wii do not automatically load the joystick settings. But they save them properly. On gamecube the analog set as digital does not work. If you don't have an analog joypad, you can't play many games. An example are Burnout and Mario Kart. Another problem is related to the ID of the Joypads which are often exchanged if not fixed. This is a problem present since version 5.24 but never solved. In addition, the ID number increases by one every game that is tried and returns to the initial menu. The installation is clean, it's not an upgrade. The version is 5.26 x64 beta. Please check if there is a solution to be implemented in the final version. Thanks.

I wish I had the linux know-how to simply update dolphin within 5.25 batocera. That would pretty much rule out one or the other. For now I'm sitting on 5.25 running just fine and dealing with the lack of down and right d-pad buttons in some gamecube games. I've also updated my CPU from i5 4570T to i5 4690. I was surprised it booted without issue being I have a very small Lenovo M93 tiny.
