If I don’t make a mistake, Batocera use yabasanshiro core (old named uoYabause which is an unofficial port of Yabause) to emulate Sega Saturn system.

In a general way (not only for Pi4 arch), Sega Saturn system is very hard & complicated to emulate so a lot of games simply don’t work or “work” with a lot of issues (glitch, bad sound….)
I think the only way is to test yourself your games with not big expectations. On my Pi4, I can launch some games but most of them are just unplayable.
