you mean this, right?:

strangely this only appears with nvidia graphics card and when nvida-drivers are enabled.
with intel or amd graphics (and with nvidia graphics disabled) the file manager (F1 in ES) looks normal

@nadenislamarre or @poke (as nvidia expert): do you have any clue, why this happens?

riccardo Following on joinski post -> I get tiny icons in F1, so If I need to access that menu I simply disable nvidia, do what I need to do and re-enable before restarting.

riccardo Whatever works. I use SSH(Putty) to remove #:

mount -o remount,rw /boot
batocera-settings /boot/batocera-boot.conf --command uncomment --key nvidia-driver
mount -o remount,ro /boot
reboot

Or to add # back:

mount -o remount,rw /boot
batocera-settings /boot/batocera-boot.conf --command comment--key nvidia-driver
mount -o remount,ro /boot
reboot

Hi, have you tried to modify the batocera config file? just search for this, if you don’t find it just add it:

if fonts are too small, uncomment next line

#global.dpi=100

I opened config.batocera file, I found the entry DPI
#global.dpi=96
I removed the “#” pound, for have global.dpi= 96
I restarted,
everything looks good, thank you, thank you very much!!!!

First resolution

Find file batocera conf

delete “#” and save, and restart system

first restart, resolution optimal !
