es_systems.cfg for batocera

Hi all!
I am impressed with the great progress of Batocera.
I’m looking for an es_systems.cfg file for batocera which will display all roms folders in emulationstation, and play with those we can of course. I have already tried and I can display the games in all the roms folders, but I cannot launch any game …
Could someone help me, or better, have a config ready please?

Tomstrug I dont get what you need ? You need to display games ? Batocera already does that. You want to show games in folders? Batocera can do that already as well. You want to show all games at the same time ? Thre is a ‘section’ called ‘all games’ that already does that.

I might be to tired to understand ;-) Please provide more info.

Tomstrug this file is off included by default in Batocera so like BZZ I dont’ understand your question…. For a system to show you need to include at least one compatible rom in it (see _info.txt file in each rom folder for that) and either reload games list from EmulationStation Start menu or reboot your Batocera.

If your games are displayed but you can’t launch any of them, it’s another issue alltogether.

If you want to include an extra system somehow, it’s better to copy es_systems.cfg in you userdata partition and modify it there as shown in the bottom of this page : https://wiki.batocera.org/doku.php?id=modify_the_system_while_it_s_running

I just want to modify the es_systems.cfg for the emulationstation does not reveal the x68000 .mid files.
I’ve already try this in systems parameters, but it does’nt work: all games doesn’t want to launch…

And how can I modify the boot from batocera please? which keyboard key should i press for cmd? for tap “mount -o remount, rw / boot”?

Tomstrug Batocera is linux based. Have a read in WIKI. You can either use SSH: https://wiki.batocera.org/doku.php?id=access_the_batocera_via_ssh or linux terminal I think its CTRL+ALT+F3. But next time you will update that will just revert to what it should be. It is easier and faster to hide files via external scraper. You can use ARRM https://forum.batocera.org/d/1288-arrm-scraper-gamelist-roms-manager and @nexusone13 will help if you have questions(Discord https://discord.gg/3AhXSv). I never really used it(that option) but ARRM(I use all the time) has an option somewhere to hide(or maybe remove) some extensions per system.

It’s perfect with ARRM. There’s tag in cache option.
