How does one force the output resolution on 5.26-dev to 1080p on a Pi-4? Getting slowdown, screen tearing and graphical glitches when running on a 4k TV. On a 1080p monitor, it runs fine. Any help is appreciated.
You can try https://wiki.batocera.org/display_issues

X refuse to start on my machine following those hints…
I just need to rotate the screen and apply a resolution with :
xrandr -s 0 -o right
Hi, i finally found the correct answer to my problem , and it should solve your issue as well with the “PreferredMode” option.
oh , in order to make these changes permanent , you’ll need to issue the cmd :
I made my changes with ssh, but you can press F1 in batocera and locate xterm in the apps folder.
The wiki says F4 should do it but the shortcut is empty.
