After updating to 5.7 the kodi stopped working

Good evening, after the upgrade to 5.7 I can no longer open the kodi, just go back to the batocer menu when I try to get in, can you help me?

Hi.
kodi has an upgrade process to upgrade from 16 to 17.
i've done several tests and it worked in my case.
perhaps something wrong with your plugins.
All the kodi data are in .kodi. First, you should try to boot with a new config to confirm it works : on the batocera main menu, press f1, rename .kodi to .kodi_16, start kodi and confirm it works.
now, the question is why the migration did not work in your case. In the worst case, it's better to start from a new configuration, but otherwise, the file temp/kodi.log should help you.

hum, the file kodi.log is very big in your case (113M😎 and not ended.
i may guess that the disk is full ?
if you have no special kodi configuration to save, can you try
- to remove .kodi
- remove the old one renamed

to save space and
- restart kodi and
- remake a support file please if it doesn't work ?

In my case, deactivating the control gpio has returned to work, this may be the case for you.

Same problem here with kodi. After install batocera 5.7 in my rpi3, kodi not work.

i understand that it doesn't work for some people.
however, please note that just reporting it doesn't work without sending me the report file will not help me to solve while everything work for me.
are you doing a fresh install ? an upgrade ?
