On version 5.25 (Rpi 3B) dosbox launch and “playable” Pro Pinball timeshock with some lag’s image, but I only updated for 5.26 rc1 and the same game don’t lunch it, back to ES with the bump version of core.

if I try to launch it with libretro-dosbox core and configure it, the game is unplayable.

same game on dosbox with retropie it’s run perfectly without any problem with sound or lag image

Same issue, dosbox-x and lr-dosbox are simply too heavy for pi3 ('and likely pi4) and after a few research not even compatibles with regular dosbox configuration cfg file format…

Tested a bit more with OGA and noticed, that SNES9X_NEXT does not work (Black screen after starting game, then it goes back to games list)

In the version for rpi3, the system volume is zero, I can’t change it. Could it be a bug?

5.25 uses the XMB interface for Retroarch. 5.26rc1 is always rGUI, even when it’s not set in developer options.

Hi.

The Tinkerboard batocera-5.26-tinkerboard-20200420.img does not start.
It crashes on the Batocera screen.
I tested it on 2 different cards.

PSX works fine but for some reason when everything is AUTO the games do not start. Put them manually to either mednafen or rearmed and they start fine.

N64 starts with everything auto but the default core is GlidenMK2 so they are a bit laggy, maybe better to have
mupen64 as default on XU4? it has playable speed for most games (that I tested).

The shutdown menu choice actually shuts down and does not restart so that’s a big plus, the SD card can’t be happy if you have to yank the powercable mid boot.

All in all works fine, the games got a slight speedup or it might be my imagination. The retroarch ingame menu was changed (again?) but no biggie.

Happy to test more Rpi3/x86_64/XU4

There is a small problem on the X68000 disk drives boot order. If you have loaded any floppy image before, you quit the game, and then you are trying to play any HDD games it will not be loaded, because the floppy disk was not properly ejected as Retroarch remembered what you have loaded previously by default. This could be fixed by turning OFF the “Save Disk Paths” in the core option.

Also as reported earlier the PC-9801 emulator np2kai is broken on the Odroid Go Advance since mid-February.

@rodrigodisselle i’ve pushed a version for tinkerboard in beta this morning.
i’ve not tested it (i’ve not a such board). but demetris applied some fixes on it.
i’ve put a new x86_64 beta too, not yet a rc2 because i’ve several fixes to do.

nadenislamarre Thank you. The Tinkerboard boot problem is gone with this new beta Image. Unfortunately the Bluetooth controller pairing problem is still there. The bluetooth seems deactivated. Wifi works.

Hello, i have an odd issue. i have x86_64 using version 5.26 2020/05/18. when i start Batocera, the xbox 360 wired controller doesnt work. i have to unplug then plug back in each time i boot.

i’m getting a black screen (or an empty bezel ) while using parallel n64 and flycast cores. did not happen in 5.25.
running on a pc (x64).
tried to use reicast but for whatever reason it runs too fast and without sound

biGdada In the case of quick reicast just delete the reicast folder that is in the config folder
