BZZ Yes, it classifies itself as a computer.
But the hardware included in it, is kind of standard compared to a “Desktop” that varies a lot from user to user.
Therefore, the audio should work well, since in the previous version there was no audio problem, using the same hardware as the computer (Rp3).

My only intention here is to pass on information to help “Batocera” continue to be this incredible system.
If for some reason they misinterpreted me, I apologize.

do you notice something not working ?
i don’t understand this menu, it looks like more for keyboard controls.
if you check button b, it is not mapped too while it is working.
if i edit the missing l and r, and check the written configuration, it is not about pad buttons.
so, for me, it seems normal, at least, i’ve nothing bad in game.

snes9x_next on odroidgoa fixed.
other bugs fixed too.
not yet reviewed all. bug my todo list before rc2 is becoming small (3 lines).

That menu is the RetroArch Quick Menu, which you can access in game with Hotkey + B.
I just wanted to show, how to get the L and R Buttons of the OGA working in dreamcast games with flycast as emulator (workaround).
With Reicast L and R Buttons of OGA are working. But with flycast they do not work (seems like they are not assigned).
So for example Crazy Taxi is not playable with flycast on the OGA, because you need L and R-Buttons for driving (L for breaking and R for accelerating).

hellboy2 Same here ;-) Dont mean to come across harsh ;-) The volume thing is well known ;-) I can install 5.25 5xtimes and 1 in 5 will have this happen ;-)

Not intended to do this like every other emulator. Which configuration do you prefer? Or what are you missing?

I configure it in the game (OpenBorn), until I save the game settings, but when I exit the game and enter again, I need to reconfigure it again.

hellboy2 In openBOR like in every Batocera emulator you shouldn’t configure controls while in the game, it is done automatically if you configured your controller correctly in EmulationStation.

hellboy2 No unusal controllers. But what happens if you use default settings? Why do you want to reconfigure the inputs? Do the default inputs not work for you?

[deleted] Look, I already explained up there, that every time I play an “OpenBor” ROM, I have to put a computer keyboard to configure the “joystick” inside the game.
Only then can I play!
But after restarting the game, it loses the settings made.

@hellboy2 can you try with only snes controller connected, check that it is assigned to player 1 in ES, launch openBOR exit it without reconfiguring and then do three pastebins of the following files :

@hellboy2 can you post config after your reconfiguration? It is possible to add a “per” game config by writing some lines into python generator but it’s a dirty way. And for saving back the changes you need it to do manually or per end/start scripts events (so you split the handling in two seperate parts — that’s ugly). As voljega Mendtioned it looks okay so far.

According to his assessment, everything seems to be fine. Unfortunately, however, it is not saving the joystick configuration. It is best to buy a mini usb keyboard and reconfigure it every time you start playing, to avoid future code problems if you try something.
