Drastic & Redream for Batocera !

Hi,

Have make a little project for help to install Drastic & Redream emulator in batocera.
The project is in dev and not all is working.

Q: Where’s the source code?
A: DraStic is closed source for the foreseeable future. It’s written entirely by us and therefore not violating any licenses.

liberodark Thanks a lot for that! I really like batocera, but I do miss some emulators.

Retropie allows to install redream (free version), it’ll be nice to have it on Batocera especially for PI4 users!

Is there any way to reverse the changes made by the Redream script, setting the emulator back to Flycast? I (oops) used the script without realizing that it wasn’t yet functioning, and am now unable to play any of my Dreamcast library.

EDIT: Got it sorted out with a quick tweak to es_systems.cfg :)

Its already planned to happen this year. There are some remaining preparations before it goes open source.

But my project is not that.
Is for install simply on batocera.
Have ask batocera moderator for make this script and is ok.
My project is a external script for help to install drastic.

There will be a Retroarch core of it so you’ll be able to use it on any Linux distro that supports Retroarch as well.

Might not be worth doing separate script if Retroarch will have it integrated.

BZZ Actually i need help for debug installer work great but emulator need specific libs.
Is specified on run.sh
But if anyone can help me for make this project great for batocera that would be good.

ezar Drastic is still not open source DraStic is a closed-source commercial Nintendo DS emulator for Android, Linux (on Raspberry Pi) and Pandora..
Redream was OpenSource and then went closed Redream core(Libretro forum). Redream wiki.

So chances of integrating it at this moment are non-existent. ;-)

MonsieurDaz Is closed source for me with no open source software is not possible to port on OGA.
:( This is just a POC for try to test to add other emulators.
But the problem is not easy to add not easy to use too.

liberodark I understand that, but since there is a Raspberry Pi version of ReDream and a Linux version as well, is it not possible to simply include the standalone version just like RetroPie does?
