Batocera is deleting files

I’m using batocera and whenever i add roms, if its through my network or directly, batocera keeps on deleting the files. I didn’t have this problem yesterday but when I added a bunch of files yesterday i noticed that they weren’t showing up. I checked the SD card and all the files were there, but when i put the SD card back in and then checked it again, all the files where gone. I’ve had to install batocera on the device probably 6 times already today and it hasn’t detected roms any of the times. I’m really lost and any help would be appreciated.

how do you add the roms?

joinski I usually do it directly with the SD card in an adapter and use the paragon software to access the Linux files. But I checked it using my network to see if the Roms were there (that I previously put in the SD card) and they weren’t there.

the paragon software is known to cause issues with batocera.
only use network method or format your SD card to Btrfs or exfat (you can do that within batocera under system settings, developer), if you want to use it under windows to copy roms directly to it via SD card adapter.

Ok, I have been using Fat32, so I will try that. And I will use it via network and see if it works. 😃

It is absolutely important with the Paragon Software to unmount the card IN THE PARAGON SOFTWARE (and after that in Windows). Unless it is unmounted properly it is not fully written.
