peterp I’ve been trying to enable #nvidia-driver=true on my boot directory, but its always read only? Do I need to mount the drive on another system to change the batocera-boot.conf file? Or am I missing something. Sorry in advance for the stupid question.
BZZ peterp mount -o remount,rw /boot batocera-settings /boot/batocera-boot.conf --command uncomment --key nvidia-driver mount -o remount,ro /boot reboot
brutalbub BZZ Hello - I am green to all this, fair warning. I have installed batocera on an older PC HDD, I (think) I now need to SSH into it and enable nvidia driver like OP. Do I copy and paste your full comment, or go line by line?
Atari brutalbub That command is outdated by now. The recommended way is here: https://wiki.batocera.org/supported_pc_hardware#nvidia_graphics_cards
BZZ Atari This is great. I asked for ‘extra’ legacy drivers ages ago - but at the time it was not a priority. It is a good news for people with older cards.
