SCRAPE FAILED: API closed for non-registered members.

I just installed batocera to a 64 bit Asus computer. I added a bunch of games and wanted to scrape them, but it gives me the error above. I created an account and verified it too, I added my username and password to the Scraper menu. I keep getting this error and don’t know how to fix it.
One thing I must add is that I was never able to log in to screenscraper, every time I press log in all it does is refresh the page. I have tried this with two accounts and the same things have happened. I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

I tried exactely the same with two account. The last time the severs of screensaver.fr had been down i got to wait one day an then the api was open again for me. Maybe they got some special restrictions for members… But i have the same login problem, so we have to wait i think.

Ok, I might just have to do with scraping from the GamesDB for now. Thanks for the info!

some months before I do some test in batocera(and the scrape system was working)thinked so that is the better mutiple emulator, and now I am having the same problem here, hope that I can put the videos and boxes of the games…I buy an computer only to make an arcade machine, this scrape error is make me a litle sad, but you say that will work, very good! waitng until tomorrow…^^

Just a heads up if it is not known, ScreenScraper had some issues it appears. There system went down for a bit like a month ago for nearly a month.
Also if anyone never noticed if the CPU load goes above a combined 100% for the 2 they have non-reg users are locked out and I think if it gets high enough only contributors are allowed which is above registered users, and reg users are above non-reg users.
Over the past month or so, they have had such issues that it was basically closed to all non-reg members while they repair or correct issues. It looks though that is is back up and working as it was before, allowing all to scrape.

But another thing that can get you blocked from scraping is it you scrape more than I think several thousands of items in one day. That can get you blocked for some small time period, a day or 2 I think.

So it is not an issue with Batocera it is an issue with the website that no one on here can correct, visit the website on a browser to know if your message you may be getting is because of something with the website, maybe CPU load is too high even if website is up and running well, Batocera seems to just give access to the API it does not control the API.
