Good afternoon, first of all I want to thank you for your incredible work. Now I would like to report a problem that has already occurred in many versions and has never been fixed, shaders simply cannot be applied or saved, I find it strange because, if shaders are of no importance to developers, why are they available? In an old image that I have, I use the shaders and the games are beautiful with them, games with pixels have a renewed image and even look like remastered games, so why not fix this problem with shaders definitely? another problem that has occurred since the last version 5.25 is that the pc remote control that used to work normally mainly for use in Kodi, now doesn’t work anymore. These are the problems that I thought I needed to report in order to be corrected in the next version if I can. Thank you in advance.

@Razorgate which action do you do to set a shaders ?

nadenislamarre it turned just as well, as I’m stuck at the office late tonight. Glad others aren’t having the same issue. I’ll try it on a couple different systems here at the house and see if I can isolate anything. I can also run the Integrated gpu on the i3 to see if it’s anything gpu related. Despite the minor issue, I’m amped for 5.26. The ability to set advanced core settings from within ES in particular is really great. Stellar work.

nadenislamarre Well, I open a game first, press Key + X and enter the options of the retroarch, even saw the Shaders, there I put 2 filters, ScaleHQ 4X and stockGL. Then I click on apply and an error message appears. Then I also try to save the settings of the shaders in the core of the error too, I try to save the global error as well. I can’t save or apply it in any way, it just doesn’t work. thank you to answer. 😉

I tried the same ROMs and bios on a different PC and 3DO and NDS both worked on 5.26, so it’s not a rom or bios issue. The PC that is affected is running a GT 1030 but has an Intel gpu onboard, so I’m going to try disabling NVidia driver and running off intel gpu.

stikoyan hey…im having the same issue and I’ve tried your suggestion, but mine still isn’t working. I’m able to use the xbox 360 controller for the menus, but not for actual gameplay. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the great release!

1) I am experiencing the same behavior. The per-game setting list no longer shows ps2 settings as it uses to do before with 5.25.

If this is intended behavior, where can one access the same settings again?

2) Also, when I restore the default configuration of ps1 emulator from emulator settings (command+B), the emulator freezes. It had to be manually closed using alt+f4

After closing, ps1 emulator reported that bios for ps1 is missing. Restoring the bios did not help. I fixed it by manually setting the bios path from directories to the bios folder.

Hello, the bug under Mame, just appeared with the last beta version 5.26 of May 27th, on the old versions everything worked well, and this problem is for many games under mame.

Nobody uses Shaders here? like to play everything with pixels, in these modern TVs that old games are not good without a filter? Really?

Razorgate22 have you tried other filters? Some of them won’t load, or crash. I use crt-geom and crt-hyllian-multipass no problem.

Bizness Yes, I have already used other filters, the problem is that it is not possible to apply or save the filters, always due to error. And that happens in several versions. To give you an idea, I still use version 5.10 of batocera, Which was the last one that still worked, but it’s outdated, it’s 3 years old, it doesn’t work with carousel themes, the kodi is old. Is it so difficult to fix it? I use retroarch in the cell phone, ps vita, ps3, laptop and in all I apply the shaders, only in the batocera that I use in the raspberry pi3 of this error.

Bizness Anyway, released version 5.26 and nothing to solve the Shaders problem again. I think I will be using version 5.10 forever, unfortunately. 😔

Toujours pas sons avec les videosnaps et le son système pour ma part et pourtant le son est bien présent sur mes .mp4 je ne comprend pas et j’ai bien choisi le bon port manuellement pas sur auto :/
je suit sur pc !

I Tried the stable version and I love it. It’s much faster when booting now.

I have read that you can change the boot screen. How do I do that? Like to make it to something else.
