batocera 5.26 does not run

I install batocera 5.26 for raspberry 4 but when running it the screen remains black, I install it in a micro sd of 128 gb and I follow all the instructions on the page but I can’t get it to start the system. I hope someone can help me

Can you run Raspbian (or Raspberry Pi OS as it is called now)? I’m wondering if it’s not the board that’s defective.

I’ve noticed that the screen stays black for some time but it works.
