New graphics card?

So I have a I5 4690k with 12gb of memory and a 1060 3gb. I was wondering if getting a different graphics card would make and difference. I notice a little slowdown at times on PS2. This setup is only used for Batocera. I was thinking maybe a 1050ti as it has 4gb which is more than the 3gb 1060.

On which games do you notice the slowdowns?
The downside of batocera is the lack of DirectX support (because batocera is based on linux and therefore there is no possibility to use DirectX, which is only available on Windows machines).
At the moment only OpenGL is possible in batocera (maybe someday Vulcan).
Some PS2 games may run better on Windows with DirectX than on Linux with OpenGL.
And i guess that is your issue :(

You could alternatively try your ps2 games on Windows and you could use Retrobat for that: http://www.retrobat.ovh/

joinski I did have Attract Mode setup on Windows and used different emulators with it and had the same problems with some games. It’s not a deal breaker so it’s all good. Was just wondering if a 1050 ti would make any difference.
