PSX issues after update

Anyone else having issues with PSX emulator on 32 bit PC running after updating to 5.26? After the update I get black screen and kicked back to menu, and yes my bios are good.

I have a same problem. I try changing emulators mednafen OR pcsx and try many extensions bin and cue, 7z, zip, and dont run.

same problem, can’t run any psx game, it just closes and returns to menu screen.

I also had this problem. I solved it by removing all the bios and keeping only the scph1000.bin

caxs what do you mean removing all bios? all psx bios or all of it inside in the bios folder?
if it’s psx, what is those files?

Hi there, I had the same issues with V30. Tried to launch PSX roms and was kicked back to main screen after some seconds. The only way to solve it, was to remove the BIOS files.
I’ve tried all different kinds of BIOS Packs that are spreaded among the internet.

Today, I’ve upgraded to the new V31 RC1 (upgrade_manually [Batocera.linux - Wiki]).

This has fully resolved the problems and I can use all the well known BIOS packs.

It might be worth to mention, that I could only try PCSXRearmed, because the graphics card in my IBM T60p supports OpenGL 2.0 only.
