Batocera PI 3B corrupt folder, ES Themes

Morning Everyone!
Yesterday I switched from retropie to Batocera.
Went through a lot of wiki and forum to find all answers to my questions :D
I’m left with to last questions i couldn’t get an answers.
Q1 Are the ES themes can be added manually from retropie to Batocera ?> https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/themes
Q2 PSX folder cant be opened when ssh, showing error (it does look like is corrupted) but all the games are playable in the Pi itself. is there a chance to fix the folder ? or do I need to burn the image again ?

P.S I have to admit that Batocera have less freedom compare to the retropie but the simplicity and how easy is now to tweak some standard options is amazing. Not mention I had to do nothing to make it work after insert the card to the PI!!!

A22Q2 : Not sure what you mean by PSX folder cant be opened when ssh ? you have an error when doing cd to this folder ? Seems highly unlikely if the games are working, what is the error exactly ? and the command you use ?

Hi @voljega games from the folder are running no problem. But when I sftp to the Pi and browsing roms folders in userdata folder I have no issues. Except when I try to open the psx folder. Then connection is lost with the error. "Connection has been unexpectedly closed. Server send command exit status 255.
In that case I went using putty to shh and use the command line to cd to the psx folder. (The same error) I thought permissions then, so I tried using both the sftp and the cmd line to change the permissions. Still no effect. I hoped it is something easy to fix before I will reimage the whole sd card.

That’s very strange but why /media/SHARE/roms/psx and not /userdata/roms/psx ?

voljega your guesses as good as mine. I don’t understand why those folders are duplicated. I forgot to mention that this is prebuilt image from arcadepunks. Last night I went reimaged the sd card, failed, then I went and unzip the prebuilt imaged from arcadepunks and flash the sd card (nothing) This morning I went and check the files without applying updates, still the same. I got feeling the file is corrupted. I will use the standard release and work my way from there.
Last question I have my personal splashscreen, that indeed is working but cuts off after 15 seconds, sometimes 20 sec.
Any way to configure that ?

Well you should have said that first, only support here is for official image, there is off ccourse no way anyone here is gonna spend time on supporting unofficial images which we don’t know anything about…

However I don’t think the issue id ‘duplicated folders’, you should do cd /userdata/roms/psx and not at all cd /media/SHARE/roms/psx which seems a wrong way to access this dir
Do this (cd /userdata/roms/psx) work or not ?

voljega unfortunately didn’t run original image and works first time. Last question for today. Splashscreen video is playing only for 15 seconds till the system loads up. Is there config file to change that. To make it play full video before enter the Bactocera ?

rehak I did find the etc folder with init.d and S03splash file but after editing the code is coming back to original state. Really want to display the whole video I done for my kids, so they can show off to their friends when come over.

ok, so I find on the wiki thx to support discord group that the reason the script went to original was because I didn’t save. Just using batocera-save-overlay do the job. Problem is now that batocera gui is starting on the background with another music file when my video is still playing so the noise is unbearable. Can’t find the file that will not play the music till splashscreen finish playing.
