resize partition and convert 64bit and Mame Vertical Arcade

I downloaded a batocera 5.25 128GB image for a 32bit PC(running on a dell).
Well I wrote to a 250GB drive all boots up and it great beginning, love it.
So I want to get to 5.26.
But first I want I noticed is that it not using the whole drive space.
I have a couple of newbie questions as I new to Linux and Batocera, so this is a learning project for my arcade machine.

so question 1.
How can I resize the partition?
I loaded the drive on a windows machine and tried partition wizard couldn’t change the size!!
What do I need to do!!!

Can I convert the 32bit version to a 64bit version?

Plan is I want to create a Vertical Arcade section, so I want to create a way to flip and add a section.
Any examples for me to look at???

In windows a tool like AOMEI should allow you to see all the partitions on the harddrive and resize them. Another (free) tool is GParted but that you have to start from a linux OS, works well with live USB linux versions. If you are in windows you will only see the small ~ 3 gb system partition (fat32) and not the other (ext4) partition where all the games and such reside.

As for changing the 32-bit to 64-bit, maybe you can do it with batocera-upgrade command (not sure) but you could delete the files in the smaller partition and replace with the files from boot.tar.xz. This should overwrite the 32-bit system with a 64-bit one on next startup. This I think is easiest done via a linux environment.
