tailslol i would like to access mupen settings and change some settings to make it faster and access the internal resolution. the real n64 has like 80% of the games in 320×240 and only a few fps games that use the extension pack in 640×480.on real hardware 640×480 mode generally have bad framerate too. so i would like to use the real n64 resolution instead.
joinski tailslol Go to game settings, per system advanced configuration, n64 and change Video Mode to a lower resolution.
jebbyderinger You can change the emulation to run at fullspeed instead of the original speed which avoids the slowdown apparent on the real n64. You can access it under options from the Retroarch menu. Pretty much all the games look better bumped up to 640×480, even on a low-res CRT.
joinski tailslol After you started Batocera and you see the system selection, you press Start, and then you go to Game Settings, Per System Advanced Configuration, Nintendo 64.
