Splash video with very low then very loud volume

The default splash video has very low volume then finish with too loud volume on my Raspberry Pi3.

Anyone have the same problem?

Yes same here, therefore I disabled the splash by placing a png to /boot (or in root for Windows systems)
You can also disable the splash sound in batocera-boot.conf

I used to disable splash sound in batocera-boot.conf too with default splash video. Thinking it was a problem with default splash video only. But it seems not.

Should we report this problem any where? Is it a well known bug?

(I know it’s not very important, but the splash video is the first thing you see/hear when you try Batocera…)

@dovik It’s a known bug. Should be fixed in 5.27

I solved it by removing the following line:

Before: / usr / bin / omxplayer -o both –vol -2500 $ omx_opt $ omx_srt $ omx_nosound “$ video” &
PID = $!

after: / usr / bin / omxplayer -o both $ omx_opt $ omx_srt $ omx_nosound “$ video” &
PID = $!

karaka I have batocera 5.26 and the splash video don’t appears with that modification.
Some idea?
