So I installed batocera 5.26 on 2 different external drives. I burnt them multiples times and even downloaded the image again. After first boot my share folder where the Roms go only shows 280mb of space. Anybody have any clues what’s going on.

Smokesjackson hello hope all is well iam about to deal with a 4tb internal drive fresh install and i know its not going to give me all the 4tb space how did you do it iam a new i to all this my email is rrijos3 at gmail Thank you so much in advance.

just flash the image… that’s it. It uses all the avaible space on the drive on first boot.

Rijosroberto Well, if it’s already been booted once, then the flag saying “expand the partition on first boot” would have already been removed. So that would be correct, only a new image does the expansion to fill the remainder of the drive.

You don’t need to clone images to install Batocera to another drive. Just flash Batocera to it, boot it, and then copy your roms/saves/etc. to the new userdata partition.
