Installing additional scripts on RPi 3

Hi,
I'm looking to do a RPi build with the Batocera image. I'm new to Rpi. I'm looking to use a specific power board:

It mentions that you have to install a script via:

curl https://get.pimoroni.com/onoffshim | bash

I remember there was limitations to installing additional scripts when setting up my odroid with the batocera image.

Will the above command work? That is will Rpi, Batocera and this Power Board all be compatible?

looks very complicated.
it's only 5 commands to build batocera from an ubuntu.

oh, i didn't understand.
ok.
i cannot tell if it works. you should try without the hardware to install first.
before running their script,
you've to run mount -o remount,rw /
