No HDMI Sound Please Help!!! Lenovo M93p tiny

So I have been playing around for days trying to get sound to come through my HDMI cable to no avail. The system Im using is a Lenovo M93p tiny with an i5 4570T running windows 10 on a 500gb ssd with 16gb ram batocera newest version 5.26 and have checked for updates multiple times. The system has a usb driven 500gb ssd drive that sits in a cd caddy that batocera runs from. If you search for this Lenovo and see a picture with the vesa mount and cd drive you should understand what I mean. The extra drive holder is a Lenovo part that replaces the cd drive. Everything works fine except for sound. I have even tried to run the drive batocera is on right to the main hard drive cable right to the motherbord and that doesnt fix it either. I have tried everything to make the sound work. I have been all over the settings both in the batocera menu and also in kodi. I have tried the ctrl+alt+f4 and looked in there and still nothing. I dont even have a main volume slider in the sound settings. If i unplug the batocera drive usb cable from the lenovo M93p tiny and run it through my home pc, somewhat similar specs, i5 4570 and 16gb ram windows 10 machine, except it has a dedicated graphic card and audio running from the mother board through a 3.5 mm jack and into the monitor I get sound and have the master volume slider/bar. How in the world do I get the sound to come through the HDMI cable on the M93p tiny ???????? My goal is to set it up in the living room and run it trough the tv. Yes I have tried it there and no sound. From what I have read its somewhat common of a problem.

Update just in case people are reading but not replying. There is a tiny speaker in the M93p tiny and if i have the audio output on [HDA INTEL PCH] sound will come out of there very very faint and I have a volume control in sound settings. If i change the audio output to HDMI0 I get sound out of the monitor speakers but can not control the level as there is no adjustment bar in the sound settings.

Anybody ???????????

Im lost when it comes to that stuff, guess I will fumble along and try it ?!?!?!?!?!?!

Is there a video or a step by step process to do that. I can do all the fancy screen stuff but when it comes to programming or changing script lines Im lost.

I really what to make this work, I really like Batocera and would rather not try and find something else for retro gamming.

Hey did you figure this out? I’ve been having a sound issue for months on a small Intel atom net top pc. I finally found a guy who posted a solution though.

Check out the one guy’s modified .asoundrc file. It may look complicated, but it works. I just typed it out the exact way his file looked, I changed my sound setting to custom like he described, and then restarted. Sounds has been working since.
