whats the point to have this build when there is no sound? more like a joke, sorry

I dont understand whats the problem and that S03splash file goes all over again and again.. issue is it causes problem: sometimes I have no video other times the display is screwed up, I only have a perfect image when I remove it, but then for unknown reason it reappears again (inside the /etc/init.d/)

i figure it the batocera-save-overlay that fix this, but after thaat I still have issues with the resolution (screen “shaking”) is there any way to control the screen resolution manually?

@Unixware Which version of BATOCERA-Tinkerboard are you using? Tinkerboard is a complete failure for 5.26
527-dev are working but there is no official release for these.

thanks for the info, its the 5.25 ..

update: I installed now the 5.26 and on one reboot had no video, I removed that S03slash and now it seems is working fine - I did not tested all of the cores BTW.
btw issues couldbe caused by the HDMI-VGA I am using, I will update again if have issues.

@Unixware Instead of removing the splash you can just add any png-file to FAT32 root partition. A simple 0-byte png will do the job ;) So you do not need to work with an overlay file.

thanks! as I udnerstand Batocera on Tinker needs more work.. Only few cores are running for me, eg the GBA starts but no video and I ahve no clue how to/if I can force it so , I am back to the Lakka…
