Dolphinbar balck screen

I have got sick of my hopeless bluetooth receiver and bought a dolphin bar to play wii games.. I am running batocera 5.26 on an i3 9100, Wii works great if I turn off the dolphin bar, start the game and turn the dolphin bar on..

If the dolphin bar is on and a controller synced when I start a game (start dolphin) I get a black screen and can’t find a way out, have to log in via ssh and reboot…

Anyone know what may cause this? not the end of the world but kind of annoying..

I got the same problem. My workaround is to turn off the Wiimote with the little Power button on Wiimote’s upper left side before starting a game and then turn the Wiimote on when the game starts. So i don’t have to stand up for turning off the Dolphinbar.

I have a wired Xbox 360 controller plugged into my NUC and a DolphinBar. I just select a game with my 360 Controller and have my Wii Remote paired to my Dolphin Bar on mode 4. I’ve had no issues using it like this on 5.26 and 5.27. Games always boot up fine for me.

I have an i3-6100U CPU, 4GB RAM, and a 256gb SSD in my NUC.

Bluetooth controllers on any PC I own sometimes have syncing issues, which is why I use my 360 controller still with its extra-long cord
