partition size

Hello,

first of all, great work!!
I tried installing retropie on ubuntu to turn my C2 into a retro system but i keep getting errors and following the how-to instructions doesn't really get me somewhere besides the command line at reboot.

So i was really excited to find something that works.
However, when i write the image to an sd i get a boot partition of 1.17 gb and when i try to update it while running it on my odroid c2 it says:

"not enough space on /recalbox/share to download the update"

I tried to make a bigger partition and copy all files to that partition but even with a 30 gb partition this error comes up.

Is there a fix for this?

i guess your sdcard is 2GB.
batocera has 2 partitions.
partition 1 for the system, 1.2G
the rest of the system is for the data, probably 0.8G in your case.
not enough to download the update while it's already full of games i think.
can you plug an usb stick, choose system=>external disk=>this usb, reboot, update (the usb stick will be used as data, and big enough to upgrade). you can shutdown and unplug the usb stick if you want to find the configuration back. choose in menu=>system=>external disk, internal so that batocera don't wait 20sec for your usb stick at each boot.

well, actually tried a 10 and a 30 gb partition, it's a 256 gb class 10 sd card.

when i plug a usb in i can't select this usb when i choose external disk.

i used etcher and Win32DiskImager to write the image on my sd

Tried another sd and now it works.
I'll try the 256 gb sd again later
