DosBOX quit games

Hallo everybody!
I am new at batocera so sry that i´m stupid. At the moment, i always used Recalbox and some things about Dos-Box in Batocera don´t make sense for me. I choosed liberto Dosbox (because the screen resolution under Dosbox-x didn´t worked). Under liberto Dosbox the resolution is fit to the screen (that´s perfect), but i if i press the ESC Button (for some games u need the ESC button) he ends the game and go back to Main Menue. How can i change this? And how can i start the mapper under liberto-Dosbox? And the last question… if i change back to Dosbox-X, it doesen´t work! It woud be very nice if anybody can help me!

dosbox and dosbox-x : ctrl + F9 to quit game
lr-dosbox : hotkey + start on the gamepad like all libretro cores
mapper on lr-dosbox : I don’t know, try ctrl+F li;ke on regular dosbox or try to enter retroarch menu

right i have it too. i just installed the jill of the jungle trilogy which i got for free from gog games/stay at home, and only libretro-dosbox works, dosbox-x immediately quits after launch (can see a window popup briefly but thats all), and in any way when i hit ESC (escape) libretro-dosbox quits to the batocera game launcher (ES). now is esc used to get into the menu while playing games, alot.
i can also use hotkey+start on the controller to get the same effect (emulator exit), but it could be considered unwanted., i read the 2nd post too, so i m gonna try to get into the retroarch gui and see if i can fix things from over there. thanks
im running batocera on a desktop x64 and this time not on a pi.

SingingCoyote13 Okay at least i have found a solution for the ESC Button Problem. You have to go into the Retroarch Menue (Hotk+B) then find [input] [Menue Control] and enable [Press Quit twice]. That allows you to use the [ESC] - Button.

correct thanks. that fixes the problem with immediate quittin, although be it in a not elegant way. - because there are also games which require pressing esc to bring up in-game menus, and accidentically hitting ESC twice might happen easily. but it works for my games.
