Xbox One controllers still not working (ID 045e:02e3)... Please updating xboxdrv/xpad!

nadenislamarre I have two different types of xbox1 controllers and i can only pair one of them. They are both up to date in win10 xbox software.

Jamespigeon Maybe one of them is the OLD Xbox One controller that has no bluetooth.

Kugelblitz You may be right with this.. I bought new but still has issues with it.

I am trying to use a Hyperkin Duke controller. While this is a USB connected controller, it still registers as a XBOX One controller. When I plug it in, it rumbles and that's it. When going to configure the controller, the system is not detecting the controller. I have already updated the firmware to the most recent firmware available. Can't seem to find a way to manually update the drivers as apt and git are not available on the terminal

pdp xbox one controller wired does not work also. pretty weird because batocera gives a message about pdp xbox one controller unplugged/plugged in when doing so. but to no avail i can get this controller to work on batocera 5.30. when i navigate to the controllers/configure controller menu with my usb keyboard and then when i have to press a on the controller nothing further happens, the screen does not change. also nothing when what ever i do with buttons on the pdp xbox one controller do nothing ever. not even in emulators/games.

just found out something odd. after hours trying i got the following conclusion : it is likely the cause of the pc i am running batocera on which is a 2008 desktop x64 pc with likely usb 1.0 ports on the back. i was using 1 of the 4 ports on the back for the wired pdp xbox one controller and batocera failed to detect the controller. i also found out that i have to plug the controller into the system in a usb 2.0 or higher port BEFORE turning on the power of that pc. i was unplugging and repluggin this controller while batocera was still running and the light of the pdp controller stayed off. when i plugged it into the pc and THEN turning on the power, as soon as batocera boot popped up the light of the controller went on - and it is working ok now !!

sorry just forget all i wrote here. that stupid pdp xbox one wired controller just broke (left analog stick broke in a worse way) within a month of purchase !!! so what i did i returned that crappy piece o * and i got refund lucky enough and was allowed to swap it for a xbox one wireless controller with a usb-c to usb cable for wired connection. reminder: never buy a pdp controller - afterwards i looked for reviews - guess what i read almost only negative reviews about this piece of junk and i should have known. and guess what, nearly everyone has the same problem with these controllers - the left analog stick gets broken (due to using left analog button as sprint often, obviousely).
