Auto mute on reboot

Hey everyone. I have a problem for months, and I can’t seem to find a lasting solution. When I start batocera, the sound is muted. So, I connect to my machine with command line, I launch alsamixer, I turn up the master volume, unmute it, then the sound works. If I restart, everything is forgotten. If I try to save (alsactl store) I am told that the file does not exist (cannot open /var/lib/alsa/asound.state for writing: No such file or directory). Do you have a solution ? Thanks in advance.

Executing this line launch the sound :
amixer -c 0 set Master playback 90% unmute
I tried to put this line in /etc/rc.local, but when I reboot, rc.local is removed.
So I tried something from this page (https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/Add-your-own-startup-script-(EN)) with creating a script named S99Sound.sh in /etc/init.d . This file is also deleted when I reboot the computer.
Someone has an idea ?

dudemanbito use a custom.sh file and place settings there. Path is /userdata/system/custom.sh

5.27 will unmute audio devs by default.
its strange your system is not persisting asound.state. try to use alsactl -f /userdata/asound.state

I want to write a follow up to this workarround.
It Is not 100% guarantee that the simple control for your “Master” is also called “Master” for alsa.

You can run in the issue that you get the error msg Unable to find simple control 'Master',0
To find out how the “real” name for your “master”, simply type in the following comand :
amixer scontrols
For my example the name is “IEC958”

So i needed to change the comand to amixer -c 0 set IEC958 playback 90% unmute
Test the comand to be shure that it works. Than put the comand in /userdata/system/custom.sh

Just for the persons who stay on 5.26 :)
